Sandra Thistlethwaite
Specialist Speech and Language Therapist
Sandra is a qualified speech and language therapist. She worked for the NHS for over 10 years, supporting pupils with physical disabilities/ autistic spectrum disorder in special and mainstream schools and young adults with learning disabilities in social services settings.
She joined the ACE Centre North, a charity that provides independent assessment and training in the field of Assistive Technology, in 2000. Sandra was assessment co-ordinator and resource manager for the Centre as well as playing a significant role in the management of the Communication Aid Project.
At Inclusive Technology, Sandra has joined the Information Team with her special areas of interest being physical access and alternative/ augmentative communication.
