Roger Bates
Information Director
Roger Bates worked in special schools including schools catering for learning difficulties, physical and sensory difficulties and behavioural difficulties. In 1986 he became manager of the Northern ACE Centre, where he developed numerous courses on the use of IT with pupils with communication difficulties.
As Information Director of Inclusive Technology, Roger developed the company's consultancy service, which provides information and training for schools, local education authorities and ICT companies. As part of this work he wrote the current RM Special Needs Handbook.
