Andy Banns

Andy Banns began working in special needs in 2001, initially working in a small school for students with PMLD. He then worked as a Speech and Language Therapist Assistant at Bladon House School in the Midlands for three and a half years, with students primarily on the autistic spectrum with a range of other difficulties.

Andy went on to work as an Assistive Technology Technician at the ACE Centre North for almost six years and had responsibilities for looking after and loaning resources, providing training on software and hardware, giving presentations at various conferences and events, and aiding in assessments.

Andy has now joined the Information Team at Inclusive Technology, working with Jamie Munro and Sandra Thistlethwaite and providing support and advice to customers.
