National Deaf Children's Society (NDCS)

The NDCS is an organisation of families, parents and carers which exists to enable deaf children to maximise their skills and abilities, and works to remove all the barriers which hinder this process.

The Society believes that if support is provided and positive attitudes are fostered, the challenge of deafness can be a rewarding experience for deaf children and their families.

It believes that parents and carers should receive clear, balanced support and information about deafness, as near to their homes as possible.

They provide a wealth of information on all aspects of deafness. A list of the many publications on offer is available from NDCS and they also publish 'Talk' magazine.
