NASEN
NASEN (National Association for Special Educational Needs) publishes many practical publications dealing with language development, literacy, mathematics, policy and staff development, and classroom management. Publications include Support for Learning (published quarterly), British Journal of Special Education (published quarterly). Special (published termly), Governor and SENCO Newsletters (twice a year).
NASEN aims to:
• promote the interests of those with exceptional learning needs and/or
disabilities
• provide a forum for those actively involved with exceptional learning
needs and/or disabilities
• contribute to the formulation and development of policy in the area.
NASEN's objectives are:
• build an effective and efficient organisation which reflects the
views and aspirations of members
• provide the means and opportunities for members to share concerns and
disseminate expertise and knowledge
• encourage the development of policy at local, national and
international level
