In Touch
In Touch is a registered charity providing information and contacts for
parents of children with special needs. They cater for all types of disability
in children: learning difficulties, physical disabilities, or a combination of
both. They have a particular interest in assisting those caring for children
affected by rare and complex conditions and they have details of support groups
catering for specific disorders.
It is primarily a service for
parents. They can give advice on education, aids and equipment, holidays,
residential care, leisure etc.
They produce a Newsletter three times a
year (£6 for parents, £12 for professionals and organisations). Any
parent who is unable to subscribe is welcome to receive the newsletter and the
use of the service free of charge.
