Inclusive has also just been short-listed for the north-west Parcelforce Worldwide Small Business Awards. Martin Littler, the company's Chairman, also reached the semi-final and final of Ernst and Young's Entrepreneur of the Year for each of the last three years too.

"We always strive to keep providing the best technology around to meet the needs of people with special needs and to help them access educational opportunities. This award shows that we must be getting something right!" said Martin Littler.

"I am delighted that we have now received a Fast 50 Award for three years in succession - a great testament to the quality of our products and the dedication of our staff."

Based in Delph, near Oldham, Inclusive Technology produces assistive technology - the special computer related devices and software that help people with disabilities to communicate and learn.

The regional Technology Fast 50 was created to recognise the outstanding contribution of technology companies to the economy. The award is based on financial performance and revenue growth and companies are ranked on percentage growth in turnover.

About Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Programme:

The Fast 50 consists of a series of regional programmes covering the East, London & South East, Midlands, South West & South Wales, the North, Scotland and Ireland.

The Technology Fast 50 programme aims to find those companies that have shown impressive growth rates in the telecommunications, hardware, software and biotechnology markets over the last three financial years. All companies considered for an award must be headquartered in the North of England, must be technology-intensive, use unique technology in problem-solving, or must devote a high percentage of effort to research and development.

Nationally, the awards are sponsored by the London Stock Exchange and Intellect. Locally, the programme is sponsored by Evolution Recruitment Solutions, who specialise in all aspects of IT recruitment throughout the UK.
