Red and blue switches in late summer and fall! In his July Jottings, Martin Littler suffers the surprises and humiliations of the quarterly sales report and looks ahead to key new products.
Not BETT at 2001!
BETT is the big one. 25,000 visitors over four days. Three-hundred-and-sixty exhibitors. Journalists, Cabinet Ministers (Gillian Shephard once spent 20 minutes on my stand and I was interviewed by Eddie the Eagle). Awards: won a few and just missed last year. Fun: the Inclusive Big Night Out at BETT is always a hot ticket...
So why aren't we going in January 2001?

Sally McKeown (TES, Special Children Magazine and
BECTa) visits the first SpecialNeedsIT exhibition and HowITWorks seminars.
"Rain-lashed, windswept Bolton on a weekday is not everyone's idea of a good
time. Nevertheless, thousands flocked to the Special
Needs North Exhibition"
The view from Inclusive's window
Each weekday 5,300 of you hit this site (7,500 at weekends) a welcome to you. Of the weekday hits, 500 visitors stay long enough to be classed as users and in their user sessions they mooch about for an average of 11 minutes 30 seconds each. Multiplied up you users spend 5,750 of your earth minutes with us each day. A staggering 95 hours per day of your attention.
