In my capacity as an Orthoptist, and working with both of them over some time, I know their depth of understanding of the role of visual perception alongside the auditory skills required for reading, writing and number work. Visual aspects have for too long been sidelined as of minor importance and this CD fills the gap brilliantly well.
The way the challenges have been put together allow them to be used at different levels and in different ways by the children and their tutors, and so much mileage is to be gained from the one disc rather than a single use resource. It is fun, bright and modern. It appeals to boys and girls and encourages discussion and teamwork as well as a one to one task. There is so little material available, especially generated from the UK and that this should be so excellent is a big step forward for those who are at a loss as to how to support children with specific difficulties influencing the doing aspect of seeing."
