Tech/Scan 8 plus Environmental Control Unit The Tech/Scan 8 Plus ECU combines a standard communication device with the benefit of scanning and environmental controls.

• Six levels for up to 48 independent messages.
• Can be used with scanning or simply as a direct select standard communicator.
• Two modes of operation: linear and step.
• Two switch scanning capabilities for use with step scanning.
• Three different scan speeds: 4.5 seconds, 2.25 seconds or 1 second.
• Standard message length of 23 seconds per message.
• Auditory prompt length of 1.5 seconds per row and column.
• External earphone jack.
• Optional infra-red for various TV controls.
