These Sensor Switches are designed to meet the needs of people with limited movement capabilities, limited strength or limited endurance. They include proximity sensors with varying ranges of sensitivity and beam switches of varying size and means of activation. The special Fibre-Optic Sensor is customised to detect purposeful eye-blinks. The Piezo Sensor detects the slightest of muscle movements.

Connecting Switches to Battery Operated Devices
Toys and simple devices are often used to introduce switches because they are highly motivating and educational. Watching a child operate a toy using a battery adaptor and a switch can help establish whether they understand cause and effect: that is they know that the switch press causes the device to operate.
