NEO2 has the great features of the original Neo, plus new ones that make it even better for classroom use. As well as mobile word processing capability, it offers Kaz typing tutor, AlphaQuiz for designing and assessing quizzes, wireless printing, extra memory and more!

Neo is still the best digital notebook or writing tool to be used in the classroom, across all ages and abilities. It enables schools to get more ICT for their money, as well as get better use from the ICT that is already within the school. NEO2 is as robust and easy to use as it predecessor, and still has the same wonderfully long battery life of up to 800 hours from just 3 AA batteries!

So what’s new?

• Incorporating technology from AlphaSmart’s successful Classroom Response System (CRS), NEO2 now enables teachers to create tests, ask questions, or take votes quickly and easily within their lessons. The results can instantly be shown on a screen or interactive whiteboard.

• With twice as much memory as Neo, NEO2 has room for more software applications. As well as Beamer and KAZ (the award winning typing tutor), NEO2 comes out of the box with AlphaQuiz. This additional software package allows teachers to set multiple choice, true/false, short answer, and essay questions, the first three of which will be marked and graded automatically!

• Using wireless technology, NEO2 can print to a network printer, making this process much easier and more manageable in the classroom.
