Growing with Timocco

Growing with Timocco includes a range of developmental, educational, non-competitive games for the improvement of motor and cognitive skills.

The activities are played using body movements, which are tracked using Timocco’s innovative software and tracking controllers. This encourages the child to develop a variety of motor and cognitive skills.

In each activity the child controls the on-screen movements of Timocco the monkey. They can go to different environments such as the beach, the sky, home or the yard, and have fun popping bubbles or catching falling fruit. Each game is friendly and non-violent as well as providing all the motivation needed to develop motor skills.

Timocco enables the tracking of physical objects using a simple webcam and a standard PC. It includes:

• 5 developmental games and navigation interface.

• body tracking software.

• 3 x tracking controllers.

• USB camera.

Each game focuses on different motor or cognitive skill, such as the child’s posture, bilateral coordination, cross midline maturation, eye-hand coordination, visual discrimination and so on.

You can easily adjust the features of each game, such as number of stimuli, the duration of the task, speed, appearance of distractors and other parameters. Each game can be adapted to the child’s developmental stage and specific needs as well as their pace of progress.
