Digital Portfolio
Let your students create a digital portfolio of their work. Each pupil logs in and creates themes and scrapbooks with material he/she wants to save in the portfolio. On each page, the pupil can place an image. This could be a picture of a group assignment (otherwise difficult to share out!) or a project done in art class. Record a song, read out a poem, or play an instrument, or save moving images and pictures, like videos from the Internet. The pupil can then write some text in the text box. Create more pages and you can record a whole project or a term's work. The entire portfolio can be played back later and remains a permanent record of a pupil's or group's work. The beauty of this program is that you can then use the program to create a folder containing all the material in the student's portfolio and then create a CD (CD Writer required). The CD can then be taken home by the student for installation on a home computer. This installs a runtime version of the portfolio so the family and others can see what the student has been doing. |
