The new version has lots of new features, including:

• Improved video resolution - now 640 x 480 pixels when used independently of a computer.
• Improved digital still image resolution - now 1.3 mega pixels.
• Conventional view finder or 1.5” flip-out colour LCD screen.
• 32MB built-in memory (as Digital Movie Creator 2) giving up to 6 minutes of video capacity, but now expandable via a Secure Digital (SD) memory card slot.
• Digital Video out port to connect directly to a digital projector or suitable TV.
• Easy download via USB.

DMC3 also includes a special education version of the intuitive video editing software with improved network functionality, compatibility with a larger range of video file types and an expanded library of UK localised photos and video. Unlimited school site licence included, as well as a comprehensive teacher’s resource pack.
