Personalising programs by using familiar pictures and sounds can make them really meaningful to your students. SwitchIt! Maker 2, ChooseIt! Maker 2, Clicker etc. allow us to add our own sounds. The easiest way is to use a microphone which plugs into your computer’s microphone socket. This one is especially useful as it comes with a stand and flexible arm, making it really easy to position. NB. an easy way to add music to these programs is to use the microphone - just hold it near your CD player’s speaker.
