The role

Regional Manager (Scotland/North East)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Manager who will be responsible for maintaining and developing strong relationships with Inclusive Technology customers.

You will manage, engage, service and sell to a number of our top spending sites and partners as well as seeking and building new relationships.

As Regional Manager, you will be the customer champion within Inclusive Technology. Sharing accountability for renewals, revenue growth targets and profitability, you will work alongside the rest of the team and develop plans for the region that reflect a deep understanding of the customers’ needs and priorities.

In addition, you will ensure that customer care is maximised with timely and appropriate responses to customer service issues.

Key responsibilities

  • Sell a range of products & services to the UK educational sector; including individual schools & school groups and other Inclusive Technology customers.
  • Manage your defined region.
  • Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contacts to achieve agreed business aims & targets.
  • Maintain and develop new and existing customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings.
  • Deliver accurate forecasts that meet and exceed targets/objectives.

Skills & experience

The successful applicant will have to clearly demonstrate:

  • Minimum 2 years sales experience.
  • An understanding of the principles of sales, including market sector targeting, product offer development, features-benefits-solutions selling.
  • Proficient in the use of all aspects of IT.
  • Excellent understanding of technologies used in education.
  • Focus on proactive customer success and satisfaction.
  • Strong communicating and influencing skills.
  • Planning & organising.
  • Good team working skills.
  • Demonstrate success and experience managing major accounts, customers and contracts.
  • Ideal background would be in selling products and services to schools and school groups.
  • The ability to think and act independently; with customers and within the business.
  • Good written, numerical and presentation skills.
